PARANUBLIUN-ANTIQUE

is the only culture and arts non-government organization in the province of Antique, Philippines. It is a non-stock, non-profit, non-sectarian organization that utilizes art forms and cultural expressions in addressing development issues. It is registered with the Security and Exchange Commission last October 27, 1995.

VISION

Paranubliun-Antique envisions communities and groups that are creative, critical, self-sustaining, pro-nation, gender fair, and actively involved in addressing development issues through the use of existing traditional and contemporary art forms and cultural expressions as media of change.

OBJECTIVES

To promote and develop Karay-a art and culture. Paranubliun collects and records indigenous arts and expressions, produces and disseminates cultural forms and expressions through publications, exhibits, performances and workshops.

To link cultural expressions to development concerns.Paranubliun provides trainings and consultancy to communities and groups. It also builds and organizes community and school-based cultural groups.

To establish partnership with individuals, groups, and institutions. Paranubliun maintains a network of artists, cultural workers, and cultural groups throughout the province of Antique, and in other provinces.

PRINCIPLES

Paranubliun-Antique is impartial towards any belief or ideology. It is nonpartisan. It espouses ecumenism.

Paranubliun-Antique adheres to the universal declaration of human rights as it promotes participatory and total human development.
